Our workers climbed the trusses and laid down row after row of dark grey resin tiles along the purlins. The line between old and new is impossible to miss: the lower half still shows the faded, ageing tiles, while the upper half is already a clean, uniform surface — straight corrugations, tight overlaps, not a gap in sight. In less than a day, the whole roof had changed its character.
